What stories do you want to tell?
That is the key question I ask all of my clients when planning a branding photo shoot. The answers help determine the props that you bring, the outfits you wear and even the location for the photo shoot.

I recently worked with my client Jen, an Arbonne consultant and yoga instructor to create a small library of images for her to use on social media. Prior to her session we talked about the main stories she wanted to visually tell. We came up with three main themes:
- What she does (Arbonne consultant).
- What she enjoys (reading and Arbonne’s tea and Fizz drinks).
- Where she likes to work (cafes & outdoor park areas).
We then discussed the props that would go along with each category (i.e. books, mugs, tea, phone, computer). All of these topics were incorporated into photographs we captured and she now has a terrific selection of images to tell her brand story on social media.
