Family & Senior Portraits at Sanborn Park

Earlier this spring I had a terrific time photographing this lovely family.  I’ve known this wonderful family for over 10 years and have enjoyed watching their kids grow up. Coordinating our session was a bit tricky as we had to find a date that would allow for their college senior, recent college grad and busy high school senior to all get together.  As it turned out the only date that would work happened to be a rainy day.  But we made the most of it and despite the off and on drizzle managed to capture some wonderful photos.  We took a little time before the group shots to capture senior photos of Austin.  You can see more from his session here.  I also grabbed a few minutes at the end of our family session to capture photos of gorgeous Cassy who graduated from college in May.   I’ll have more of her gorgeous photos on the blog soon!

Our tree is officially up for our first Christmas in our new house. It has been so much fun decorating our new place for the holidays.

And a big thank you to my sweet friend for the “home sweet home” ornament. It’s the perfect touch for our first holiday here. 🏠💕

So… I turned a pool ring and a bin of old garlands into a Christmas wreath and honestly, I’m feeling pretty proud of myself right now. 😂 Who knew this pink pool float could transform into a holiday wreath?

You know I love photography, but give me a craft project and I get super excited. This little DIY was easy, budget-friendly, and now my barn is looking sooo festive!
