Last month I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with this wonderful family. I was there to capture everyone as they spent the afternoon doing some of their favorite things like skateboarding, eating watermelon and cooling off with popsicles. I love these types of sessions, where the emphasis is on freezing these fleeting moments in time. Just a typical afternoon of a family doing what they do best….hanging out together and enjoying the day.

I think it all started after I had a nightmare that I showed up and forgot to put the battery in my camera. 😅

Jumping on the 2016 trend......
Back in 2016, I made a big shift in my business. I slowly started phasing out preschool, family and high school senior photography and leaned fully into what truly lights me up: branding photography, headshots, and product photography (here are some images from that year of new focus).
It wasn’t an overnight decision. It came from listening, learning, and paying attention to the work that felt most aligned and fulfilling. Helping business owners show up confidently and visually tell their story is what I love most.
I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who supported me along the way — the families who trusted me with their kids, the seniors who let me be part of such a big milestone, and especially those who encouraged me to focus on this new direction when I wasn’t quite sure yet.
