A few weeks ago I had the best time celebrating my dear friend Suzanne’s birthday doing one of our favorite things….a photo walk coffee shop hop. We started this tradition 2 years ago and so far we’ve had four outings to San Francisco with the express(o) purpose to visit local coffee shops and of course take photos. If you are looking for some great spots to enjoy a cup of coffee in San Francisco be sure to visit not only the places below but the additional coffee houses featured in Coffee Shop Hop Part 1, 2 and 3.
This year we started at Vive La Tarte. Vive La Tarte is a minimalistic space that has amazing pastries that are sure to please both the sweet and savory baked good lovers. I went for the spinach quiche and it did not disappoint. Yum!
Next we moved on to Samovar Tea & Chai. This place had the most amazing selection of exotic teas. The space was bright cozy spot to visit on a rainy day and it smelled divine!
On our way to our next java destination, we made a little detour and stopped in to Ampersand. A gorgeous flower shop tucked away in the Mission. The flowers were so lovely and the staff warm and welcoming.
We ended our day with lunch at Craftsman and Wolves. We each had a yummy kale salad and shared a sweet kouign amann pastry. Thankfully San Francisco is brimming with adorable coffee houses, so I have a feeling our little coffee shop series will continue. Stay tuned for Part 5! And now, after seeing all this coffee I hope you’ll grab a cup and click through the rest of our blog circle starting with the very talented Kim Bajorek.
