What to Wear for Senior Photos | The Two Most Important Factors

Choosing an outfit for your senior photo session can seem stressful but it really needn’t be.  My recommendation is to bring two outfits.  One that is more casual and a second that is a little dressier.  The key with both outfits is to choose clothing that you feel comfortable in and that fits you well.  I have a lot of other tips on my website but what it really boils down to are those two important factors.

My photo session with Allyson is a perfect example of choosing clothes that you feel good in and fit well.  As you can see, she is a beauty.  I love the colors she chose for her shoot.  The soft blue top looked great against this woodsy backdrop and her magenta dress really popped.  Allyson’s choices were just perfect and gave us a nice variety of looks.

Of course there are other things to consider and like I said, I have all those details here.  But once you think within the framework of something casual (think hanging out with friends) and something a bit more dressy (what you’d wear to a party or dance), you’ll realize it’s not so hard.

Our tree is officially up for our first Christmas in our new house. It has been so much fun decorating our new place for the holidays.

And a big thank you to my sweet friend for the “home sweet home” ornament. It’s the perfect touch for our first holiday here. 🏠💕

So… I turned a pool ring and a bin of old garlands into a Christmas wreath and honestly, I’m feeling pretty proud of myself right now. 😂 Who knew this pink pool float could transform into a holiday wreath?

You know I love photography, but give me a craft project and I get super excited. This little DIY was easy, budget-friendly, and now my barn is looking sooo festive!

Am I the only one NOT ready for Christmas decor yet? 🍂

I’m still enjoying fall colors, pumpkins, and gold candles. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that Thanksgiving is next week!

I just want to enjoy this season a bit longer before the twinkle lights take over.

Tell me I’m not alone — are you already decorating for Christmas or savoring fall with me? 🤎
