Your photo session will be relaxed and fun. My goal is to create an comfortable atmosphere where you will be at ease and truly let your personalities shine through. I love to capture how families interact…especially those spontaneous moments. Sometimes the best photos are those unexpected moments that you wouldn’t think to photograph.
With small children it is a good idea to bring a favorite toy and/or snack. It helps to keep them motivated and content. If they are not interested in sitting for those “posed” shots, not to worry because some of the best shots are those of your child doing what they do best….having fun playing at the park…reading a book with mom and dad….or jumping on the bed.
For family portraits I really encourage you to relax and not to fret over having everyone looking straight at the camera. I’ll do my best to get that shot with everyone’s eyes looking at the camera but some of the best photos tend to be those genuine moments in between.
For you expecting mamas, I typically like to schedule your session around the 8th month mark. I love capturing photos of your belly in full bloom. I have lots of ideas for poses and promise to make you feel comfortable so that we can capture the joy of your impending arrival!
For business portraits, feel free to bring a variety of clothing options to help convey the look you are after. We can do a couple of wardrobe changes so that you have a few looks to choose from.
Your portrait session typically lasts for an hour and takes 1 week for me to process. You will receive a private link to a password protected gallery from which you can see your images and order prints and digital files.
