I was so excited to photograph these two lovely sisters and their adorable new puppy last week. We had a great time and captured a bunch of gorgeous images. I mean look at these two girls, it is not hard to do. And little Miss Aila (the pup) fit right in.

I’m letting you in on a little secret from my recent move... 😅 I somehow misplaced my external hard drive with thousands of client photos on it. 😳
But here’s the thing—I didn’t panic (well, maybe a tiny bit)—because I knew I had backups. @zenfolio had my client galleries, and @backblaze had my computer and all my external hard drives covered. 🙌🏼
Long story short—I got everything back, and I’m SO thankful for all my backup systems.

Change is hard… but it’s also really good.
After years in Silicon Valley, we made the move to wine country—and it already feels like exactly where we are meant to be. Slower mornings, more space, and a chance to breathe a little deeper.
One thing that pushed us to make the leap was the unexpected loss of a dear friend. Her passing was a heartbreaking reminder that life is short. We don’t always get “someday.”
So here’s your nudge from me: whatever’s on your heart, just do it. Don’t wait. Life is meant to be lived. 💕

As some of you may know, my dear friend Tina Goro Vasbinder recently passed away after a courageous and hard-fought battle with triple negative breast cancer. Tina was like a second sister to me. She has been by my side since we were 18 years old. She meant the world to me and I miss her terribly. With the blessing of her family, we`ve partnered with Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation to raise funds in her honor. 100% of the money raised (less credit card fees) will go directly towards research, improving early diagnosis and creating better treatments.
