I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to take photos of a local Las Madres group over the past year. I love seeing all of these little cuties and watching them grow.
This week the group met at a local pumpkin patch for a little fall fun. The kiddos were all dressed in costume and were adorable. There were bees, princesses, a pumpkin, lion, mouse, frog, pterodactyl, Super Man and Batman, as well as a couple of Dorothys and even Santa. Too cute!
Seeing all the kids reminded me of when my own kids were that age, toddling around in their Super Hero or Princess outfits. It made me long for the days when my kids wanted to be cute little critters instead of the scary creatures they choose now that they are teens and tweens. It is amazing how that changes. And I also thought about how we no longer have outings to the pumpkin patch…..these days I grab a pumpkin at Safeway. Hmm…maybe I need rethink that.
Anyway, I loved that this group of moms had me along to document this fun outing and remind me that you are never too old for a fun-filled, fall day at the pumpkin patch!
