Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa Stambaugh, better known as the Web Diva from Collective Discovery. Lisa, who contacted me after seeing some of my photos on Facebook, was in need of some new photos for her website and soon to be released book, Web Diva Wisdom: How to Find, Hire, and Partner With the Right Web Designer For You.
She didn’t want your run of the mill head shots and was interested in images that reflected her personality. After chatting on the phone and exchanging emails we came up with our plan…..an outdoor shoot in Los Gatos complete with props, easy wardrobe changes and a good friend (who not only provided a bit of moral support but also kept on eye on our bags as we walked around the neighborhood).
While she claims that she does not have a great fashion sense and that she was a bit nervous about our shoot, you’d never know based on these beautiful photos. She looked stunning and was completely at ease in front of my camera.
Lisa, thank you so much for reaching out to me and for your kind review. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you and look forward to reading your book. And who knows, perhaps we will work together again when your next book comes out??? 🙂
