As a photographer, I always love to see how my clients use the images we create together. My recent client Renn from Soul Poetry hired me last fall because she was updating her website and wanted fresh images.
Renn is an intuitive Channel Artist who channels poems and messages from randomly selected book pages. She uses this gift to help her clients overcome grief, find joy and as well as find inspiration in their own lives. Working with Renn was so wonderful. I just loved being around her positive and calming energy.
Before our photo shoot, I had a call with her team (her website designer, marketing manager and herself) to discuss what she/they were looking for. We discussed how she wanted to make sure the branding images reflected her personality and the essence of her business. We talked about the various props we would incorporate as well as different poses/looks. We wanted to make sure that her soulful nature was incorporated into every photo. We also made sure to think through where the images would be used throughout the site, keeping in mind that we would need various shots that represented the different facets of her business.
Fast forward a few months ahead and her website is complete. I love how it turned out. As I scrolled through her website, I was thrilled to see how seamlessly the images integrated into the design. Her branding images create a consistent look and feel throughout the site. Best of all, you get a true sense of her personality.
It’s always gratifying to see how my clients use their branding images to enhance their business. Soul Poetry with Renn Byrd is a perfect example of how powerful imagery can be.
