Happy New Year! Do you set goals or intentions at the start of each new year? I don’t formally make lists but I do have general ideas or goals that I want to reach. I like to think of starting the new year with a framework of things I want to do for myself and my business.
One goal I have each year and I highly recommend to every business owner, is to update your branding photos and here is why:
- Changes in your business: As your business evolves and grows, your personal branding photography should also reflect this change. Maybe you’ve added a new product, updated your logo, are offering a new service or changed your packaging. Creating images that showcase these changes or take your audience on your business journey is great content to share.
- Keeping your brand fresh: Let’s face it using the same images over and over gets a bit boring. Having a new library of images helps keep your brand fresh and relevant. Plus it is always exciting to share new images and this will help keep you consistently posting.
- You want your clients to recognize you: I get it, sometimes we want to hang on to that one photo that we loved of ourselves from 5 years ago. But we all change over time. When you meet your client for the first time and you want them to trust you, you should look like the images you share online.
Overall, branding images are an excellent way to tell the story of you and your business. They are a wonderful tool for creating connection, building trust and making a great first impression.
