10 on 10 September | My Time at Click Away

I just got back from Click Away (a photography conference in Salt Lake City) and quite honestly the whole experience has not completely sunk in just yet.

I had a fantastic time, met amazing photographers and learned so much.  My notebook (thank you Becky) is full of ideas that I can’t wait to revisit and implement.   Needless to say, I am inspired to try new things, make some changes and develop my business.

While I hoped to get the images off my DSLR for this 10 on 10 post, I am just too tired.  So instead, I’ll give you a quick peek of what I was up to those past four days using a few of my favorite iPhone photos.  After you’ve had a chance to check out my photos, please pop on over to take a look at Connie’s day.

When we arrived, we were hungry and decided to try the Red Iguana.  It did not disappoint!

Salt Lake City is so beautiful and clean.  We loved walking around Temple Square.

Yep, that is Sue Bryce.  She is just amazing as I thought she would be!

The entrance into the Salt Place Conference Center was impressive.

Me and my roomies, Suzanne and Becky.

During one of our breaks, Becky and I ran to the Farmer’s Market for a quick bite to eat and saw the cutest food truck ever!

We went on a field trip to Ogden, Utah.  The town was full of painted pianos.  I loved this one.

Suzanne and I decided to take a last minute trip to Saltair to see the sunset.  So glad we rallied to do this.  It was beautiful and I think this is my favorite photo from the entire trip!

I’m letting you in on a little secret from my recent move... 😅 I somehow misplaced my external hard drive with thousands of client photos on it. 😳

But here’s the thing—I didn’t panic (well, maybe a tiny bit)—because I knew I had backups. @zenfolio had my client galleries, and @backblaze had my computer and all my external hard drives covered. 🙌🏼

Long story short—I got everything back, and I’m SO thankful for all my backup systems.

Have you ever lost something important and had to rely on a backup? Tell me I’m not alone.👇🏼💬
