10 on 10 November

This month I was traveling on November 10th so rather than show you airport shots, I thought I’d show you photos from my weekend.

I was visiting my cousin, Renee,  in Dallas, Texas.  I happen to do some part-time marketing work for her.  She has an amazing ultrasound imaging company called Stork Vision and has grown her business to what will soon be 28 stores!  Renee’s sister Lynn  who resides in the Chicago area (my other cousin) is her graphic designer and we all met in Texas to do a little work and of course play.  Oh and not to miss out on the fun, our moms also came into town (both from Illinois) and we had a fantastic weekend full of yummy food, good drinks, shopping and a little bit of work in between.

My trip started off with a little note from the universe found in the bathroom stall at the airport.  When I saw it on the back of the door, I had to take a photo.  I just loved finding this random note and checked the other stalls to see if they also had messages but they didn’t.

Here is a photo my cousins, my mom and me enjoying a little glass of wine and some good conversation.

And of course while I was there, I had to take some photos of my cousin’s beautiful daughters.  I asked them if they would be interested in a little photo shoot and they enthusiastically said “yes.”  I’m used to eye rolls from my kids so this was a very pleasant surprise!

Here is Grace.  She is gorgeous and has our grandmother’s crystal blue eyes……..

And here is the very beautiful, Sadie.  She has such an easy way about her….such a sweetheart.

Sisters…so different but yet so much alike.

I loved the fact that when I asked the girls to get on their bellies on the pavement, they did not hesitate!

I could not resist snapping a few photos of Renee’s cute pug, Zoe.  Isn’t she adorable?

And sadly, all good things must come to an end.  Here is a shot from the parking deck back in San Francisco…..

So now that you’ve seen a bit of my weekend, click on over to check out Michelle’s day.

Ready to see this storage room get a glow up? What used to be random storage space is now my little creative corner. I’ve got room for all my photography gear and my craft supplies — everything in one place. Plus I’m able to put our extra furniture to good use. 😊

It’s not perfect, but it’s a great little creative space. 📷🎨💕
