It’s time for another 10 on 10, my super fun project where I along with a group of fellow photographers share 10 (or more) photos of images taken on or around the 10th of each month.
This month my husband and I are celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary (how can it be??)! Our anniversary is actually today, July 15th, however we decided to skip a fancy dinner and go to a Giants game to celebrate over the weekend. I’m not actually a very big baseball fan but I am a HUGE fan of a band that was playing at the pre-game happy hour, The Mowglis. If you have not heard of them you should definitely check them out. They are a very upbeat, indie band that as they say, “were created with an intention to help change the world for the greater good by spreading a message of joy and love.” The perfect band to see when celebrating 19 years of marriage, wouldn’t you say?
Anyway, the concert was great….we were so close and at the beginning of the concert hardly anyone was there. I couldn’t believe that more people didn’t take advantage of this amazing opportunity to see this fabulous band in such an intimate setting. And as you will see from the images below, going to a Giants game is like going to no other ballpark. It is located in such a beautiful setting right on the San Francisco Bay and the food is amazing….gourmet flatbread at a ballgame…delish! Oh and yes, the Giants are fun to watch too….they won!
Needless to say, the evening was the perfect way to celebrate this special milestone! Cheers to 19 years!
